King Cobra is the sacred thread of Lord Śiva. Padma and Piṅgala snakes are earrings of Lord Śiva. Kambala and Dhanañjaya serpents are armlets - Bājūbandha of Lord Śiva. Aśvatara at the right and Takṣaka at the left wrist are two bangles - Kaṅgana of Lord Śiva around the waist.
